Wafers & Chips
Ever wondered what makes smartphones so... smart? Tiny powerful microchips are in every gadget people own, making them faster, smarter and more energy efficient: powering 5G, guiding self-driving cars, driving robots and helping us perform lifesaving procedures. At our stand your students get to meet the people designing the future of microchips here in the UK. Their work is SUPER-CLEAN and SUPER-TINY. Students can also visit our ‘cleanroom’ for a breath of fresh air and a bath in yellow light!
