Test, explore and learn how materials can shape your future
Our activities allow your students to explore a range of areas in Materials Science and Engineering and how Materials Scientists get inspiration for the following; developing new materials (using microscopes to look a surfaces from Nature), how they make new materials (3D printing), testing materials (using UV torches to decide on which material to block out UV light), applications of materials (by looking at how lithium ion batteries work and can be recycled) and nanomaterials (by exploring different allotropes of carbon).
