The Future is Fusion
Meet the star makers! At our stand your students will have the change to meet the team behind the exciting work of fusion and learn all about what they do.
Your students will learn all about what scientists and engineers at UKAEA do and how they can recreate stars here on earth using fusion, through heating a gas of atoms to 150million degrees! Students will also discover what plasma is, control a ‘fusion machine’ and meet one of the robots we keep on site.
They will explore the future possibilities of fusion to create energy in a more environmentally friendly way and see how they could be part of this exciting journey.
