How and why we use and learn from the Ocean

Join us at Ocean Generation where we will have 3 exciting activities, a video about the Ocean and a space for students to make their Ocean pledge. The activities are:

  • Sustainable Fishing game – hook the fish and discover if it’s sustainable to eat or not.
  • Polar Problem Solvers – discover how polar species have inspired products in this biomimicry matching activity.
  • Unlock your Ocean superpower – pair skills with values to see the kinds of jobs best suited in the Ocean space.

Alongside this we will also have a tablet for teachers to sign up to the Ocean Academy newsletter and get free access to all our educational materials.
