How can you get involved with Medical Devices?
Our exciting stand includes escape boxes, the chance to practice hip replacement surgery, VR headsets and a 3D heart model!
Can your students solve each puzzle to crack the code and get into our escape boxes? Each box will showcase the design, quality, manufacturing and testing of a joint implant, (like a hip or knee replacement).
The Bone Cement activity will include the opportunity for students to perform a cemented hip replacement surgery.
The 3D heart model activity will include virtual reality headsets as well a 3D heart model in which the students can have a go at manipulating the inside of a heart, just as our cardiologists would!
