A World of Invention by Cracking Ideas

Step into a World of Invention by Cracking Ideas at our Wallace & Gromit themed stand. Your students will discover their inner innovator, through taking on exciting activities. Each is designed to spark creativity and introduce intellectual property concepts.

The first is the ‘Cracking Expedition’ challenge. Students need to design inventions that help Wallace & Gromit explore environments from tropical islands to the North Pole. This has a special focus on sustainable solutions like renewable energy and environmental clean-up.

The second is ‘The Innovation & IP Corner’ This has an interactive magnetic game where students match STEM jobs and inventions to different types of intellectual property protection. Students can then capture memorable moments at our Wallace & Gromit Photo Opportunity featuring authentic wingback armchairs and themed backdrops.

All activities are designed to demonstrate that anyone can be an inventor, with our staff on hand to discuss how intellectual property rights protect creative ideas and highlight various pathways into STEM careers.
