The Big Bang Fair 2025 is open to groups from state-funded schools. Home educated students, independent schools, independent colleges, independent sixth forms and universities are not eligible to attend The Big Bang Fair.
EUK Education, which runs The Fair, aims to encourage and inspire young people from groups who are underrepresented in the STEM profession. Because of this, we have decided to target our activity in schools which are likely to have the highest proportion of young people from those groups and have a set of criteria to identify these schools. In taking this approach, we have found that working with state-funded schools yields the most impact against our mission.
