Amazon Future Engineer and AWS GetIT are teaming up to run a stand to introduce students and teachers to our offerings. We’ll be running demos of our programmes, including our new Python Platform, Alexa App Inventor, our AWS app prototype game and we’ll have examples of creative ways to use physical computing using microbit.

Core STEM Message

Amazon Future Engineer is a cradle to career programme to provide computer science skills and opportunities to young people underrepresented in STEM.

AWS GetIT is a fully funded education program and competition designed to inspire students, especially girls, to consider a future in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). The program helps schools and educators bring tech role models to their classrooms and gives them access to curriculum designed to help students build foundational skills, learn about cloud tech, and design app ideas to solve problems in their communities.
